Bob Brink, P.E. Mr. Brink has been involved in all types of sophisticated equipment design for over 20 years. This includes designing the largest asphalt plant in the world with over 800 tons per hour with the production capability of producing over 900 tons per hour. In recent years, Mr. Brink has been the chief engineer of Louisville Dryer Company, designing very sophisticated rotary machinery equipment devices including steam tube, direct fired, indirect fired and other rotating devices. This is with a variety of material flows, heat transfer rates and more. Extensive finite element design has been incorporated to determine ultimate strength and wear life projections. A number of industrial dryer accounts have requested design standards to operate on campaigns of production lasting 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for at least 12 months continuously and want all components to operate without fail during that time period.
   
Teresa Donahue. Mark Ehringer. Product Manager, Stansteel Asphalt Plant Products. Mark has, virtually all of his life (and he is 50), been in the construction business. He and his family owned a quarry and asphalt plant operation in Indiana. He has directly been with Stansteel and our affiliates for over 20 years. Since Mark was a contractor, he understands what it’s like to get equipment that works in a dependable fashion and keeps up and running so that you make money at the critical times of the year, not just when it’s convenient.
   
Steve Elam. General Manager, Hotmix Parts & Accessories. Steve ran an asphalt facility and is well versed when it comes to both mechanical ability as well as how equipment can be properly applied and making things work in the best manner. Robin Henry has over 35 years of experience with all types of industrial machinery including asphalt plants, process handling equipment, industrial dryers and air pollution control equipment. Mr. Henry pioneered much of the work in the air pollution control field for Standard Havens, Inc. of Kansas City and has been involved in the successful application and retrofitting of countless asphalt plant conversion projects. He has excellent application design capabilities as well as common sense solutions to plant problems. He is very customer oriented and will help customers define the constraints of their existing situation, whether their existing equipment is good news or bad news. Robin currently is one of the key leaders in helping customers in the hotmix asphalt industry “make their plants run better.”

Trey Mathis has over 20 years of experience intensively with making and helping the Louisville Dryer machinery become the unquestioned leader in precision, long-term use, rotary devices. This ranges from application of all types of material handling equipment and drying of diverse and unique materials. He has specialized in working with Fortune 100 companies to convert their plants and equipment to a much more predictive maintenance arrangement with the heavy duty designs and precision manufacturing of Louisville Dryer equipment.
   
Tom McCune. Tom has been in the business 35+ years. Tom has been involved in the design, application and management of all kinds of hotmix asphalt projects. Dave Payne. Used Equipment Specialist. Dave Payne has been involved in engineering, field measurements and all types of engineering and conversion projects in the industry for over 20 years. Currently, he is serving as a used equipment specialist to help customers utilize used or reconditioned equipment in their operations in the ultimate way. Often, a moderate investment in used equipment can gain a huge benefit to the end user such as add-on silo to an operation, an add-on used reconditioned recycle system, baghouse or other component. There may be one weak link in the current plant operation and this can be solved by the correct application and installation of used and reconditioned components.
   
Rick Rees. Rick has literally inspected thousands of asphalt plants all over North America over the span of his 30-year career in the asphalt industry. One could say he has virtually seen it all and has used his knowledge in troubleshooting a vast variety of plant conditions. His expertise is a key ingredient incorporated in all Stansteel designs.
   
Tom Snell. Field Service Manager. Tom has been involved in the business for over 30 years, everything from setting up asphalt plants to installing and diagnosing electronic controls. Tom has been a valuable contact name to have because he is a rock solid dependable person that can be counted on nights, weekends and other inconvenient times to help customers diagnose a problem, get a corrective action or respond to an emergency situation or breakdown.
   
Enrique Tapia, P.E. Enrique (Rick) has over 35 years in the hotmix business from being in charge of 17 asphalt plant operations all over the Caribbean up to managing operations of constructing equipment, designing equipment and making sure it’s up and running. Rick has lived and breathed hotmix asphalt ever since getting out of engineering school and knows how to get things done with the minimum budget up to making the largest plant in the world operating in excess of 800 tons per hour. His bilingual ability also helps many customers at plants as well as companies doing installation and refurbishing work on hotmix facilities.
   
Jerry Young P.E. Jerry has been involved in the business over 40 years. He’s been involved in the design, operation, manufacture, service and installation of hundreds of hotmix plant facilities. Jerry brings the unique combination of having engineering background ability as well as the hands-on experience to help make operations run better. He also has incredible experience in the heating and drying of all kinds of materials that are in the application knowledge that we have for both Louisville Dryer Company and Industrial Kiln & Dryer Group.
